REVIEW: A Literal PLATTER of CHURROS Exists in Disney World, but You'll Need a Friend To Eat Them All

Did you know there are a TON of spots in Disney World to grab churros other than the normal snack stands? Not only that, but Disney has some hidden snack spots with BETTER churros than the classic variety you may be familiar with in Disney World.

Guava and Cheese Churro

It’s true! While regular Disney World churros are not quite as good as the famous Disneyland churros, there are some other spots around Disney World that serve great churros, such as Nomad Lounge, Sunshine Churros, and the Churro Waffles at Crystal Palace breakfast. Oh, and there’s even a family-style churro offering at one spot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but are they truly worth the price? We found out!

Over at Eight Spoon Cafe in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can grab the Family Churros for $15.99. These are twenty-one bite-sized churros with sprinkles, caramel sauce, and chocolate dipping sauce.

Overall, these were…fine. These were fine. In our opinion, they’re a little better than big, long Disney World churros, but nowhere near as good as Disneyland churros. They’re pretty inconsistent in size, color, fry level, and texture. Some were chewy while others were crispy, which wasn’t ideal as churros connoisseurs.

So many churros

There’s a LOT of sugar here. Between both of the sugary sauces, sprinkles, and the sugar on the churros, this is definitely not something you want to eat alone! The chocolate was very fake-tasting, kind of like chocolate syrup instead of a ganache or melted chocolate. The caramel is mostly sugary without much caramel flavor, although it was smoother and richer than the chocolate to us.

It was way too weak for us

This is a pretty good deal for a snack and great if you want churros, but it’s very messy, and we don’t know if we’d put it in our top five or even top ten recommended snacks at Animal Kingdom. But, if you’re looking at this from a bang-for-your-buck perspective, this is a LOT of food!

The caramel wasn’t the best either
