Thunderbolts* hit theaters May 2nd, and less than two weeks later, one member of the group is walking around Disneyland!

New characters have been known to pop onto the campus from time to time when new movies and TV shows are released, and we’re excited to welcome another hero to the group.
You can now see the Red Guardian in Avengers Campus at California Adventure! The Red Guardian, or Alexei Shostakov, “is a Russian super soldier with a larger than life personality.”

We’ve seen him in an official photo spot and roaming around the area, with appearances scheduled for 12:45, 1:45, 2:45, and 3:50. However, make sure you’re checking the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date information.
Welcome to Avengers Campus
Want to meet the Red Guardian but don’t know what to say? Here are a few ideas to help keep the conversation going:
- Ask him about the other members of the Thunderbolts*
- Talk about his other job, Red Guardian Limo Service
- Chat with him about Captain America (or even better, tell Captain America how amazing Red Guardian is)
Avengers Campus is in the middle of some renovations right now to bring in new offerings! A brand new Iron Man ride, Stark Flight Lab, which will allow you to enter Tony Stark’s lab to try out his new technology.

They’re also adding Avengers Infinity Defense! This ride will take us through iconic Marvel locations where you “might find yourself face-to-face with King Thanos.”
