5 Curfews Disneyland Is Enforcing in 2025

Unsurprisingly, it’s impossible to have fun at Disneyland 24/7.

Over the years, Disneyland’s rules have changed dramatically, as have its curfews. Compared to the theme parks in Florida, Disneyland’s hours are a tad more lax and late-skewing, but they still have their strict cutoffs. If you plan on visiting Disneyland in 2025, these are just some of the important curfews you need to be aware of.

Before your visit, be advised of these 5 Disneyland Resort curfews.

Theme Park Curfews

Generally speaking, Disneyland Park is open later than Disney California Adventure. Theme park hours generally range between 9 PM to midnight, with Disneyland usually open until 11 PM or midnight and California Adventure open until 9 PM or 10 PM.

Disney California Adventure

When the Disneyland Resort is in its normal operations, California Adventure will almost always close before Disneyland. However, there are exceptions for after-hours events, such as Oogie Boogie Bash during the Halloween season. It’s also possible for the parks to close VERY early, so always check the Disneyland calendar before your trip.

Downtown Disney Curfew

Those who love late-night shopping probably love Downtown Disney! This district remains open 1 hour after the last park closes.

World of Disney Downtown Disney

During its peak season, Disneyland Park usually closes at midnight, which means Downtown Disney usually stays open until 1 AM. Of course, times fluctuate throughout the year, so always check the Disneyland app to see how late everything is open.

Hotel Pool Curfew

Disneyland also has surprisingly late curfews for its pools. Currently, the pools at Disneyland’s three hotels — the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel — are open until 9 PM.

The Disneyland Hotel

Southern California provides a great climate for night swimming, with evening temperatures that can be in the 70s and 80s during the spring and summer. However, inclement weather and other factors can cause the pools to shut down, so be aware that these hours can dramatically change without advanced notice.

Hotel Lounges and Restaurants Curfews

Disneyland Resort hotels have all kinds of hours when it comes to their lounges, bars, and restaurants. Some have set brunch and dinner hours, while others simply remain open until a certain time.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar

If you are looking for a late-night bite or drink, check out Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand Californian (typically open until around 11:30 PM) or Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel (typically open until around 11:55 PM).

Disneyland Monorail Curfew

The Disneyland Monorail also has a curfew and it usually lines up with the closing of Disneyland. The monorail connects Tomorrowland to Downtown Disney near the entrance to the Disneyland Hotel.

While the monorail generally operates at the same time as Disneyland, we have had instances where it closed a little early, so we recommend not staying until close if you intend on using it. The monorail will also temporarily stall services during fireworks, so if you plan on using it to get a great view of the show, you’ll likely be out of luck.
