If thereโs one thing we know about Disney fans, itโs that we always have opinions on whatโs next for the parks.
Whether itโs a new ride, a revamped land, or a totally fresh idea, weโre full of suggestions. With all that in mind, we wanted to find out from you what expansion youโd like to see next in Disney World, you did not disappoint.
We reached out to our followers on Facebookย to ask: โWhat expansion would you like to see next in Disney World?โ We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!
Now, letโs dive into some of your top responses!
โWall-E in Tomorrowland!โ
First up weโve got Taub who suggested, โWall-E in Tomorrowland!โ and honestly, we couldnโt agree more.
Tomorrowland is all about the future, but some parts of it are feeling a bit more retro than futuristic these days. Bringing Wall-E into the mix could breathe some new life into the land with a ride, a walk-through experience, or even a high-tech interactive show. Imagine hopping on a slow-moving dark ride through Wall-Eโs world, complete with animatronic Eve, space travel, and some classic Pixar heartstring pulling. Sign us up.
โA Coco land!โ
Next, weโve got Shawn who was all about bringing Coco to the parks with, โA Coco land!โ And letโs be realโhow has this not happened yet?
The world of Coco is colorful, musical, and packed with the kind of storytelling Disney does best. A whole Coco-themed land could bring the magic of the Land of the Dead to life with a boat ride (think Pirates of the Caribbean, but with marigold bridges and skeletons playing guitars), an interactive mariachi performance area, and some seriously good Mexican food. Plus, can you imagine the nighttime visuals? Glowing alebrijes everywhere. Yes, please.
โMore Muppetsโ
Next, Cheryl simply said, โMore muppets,โ and we canโt argue with that. The Muppets absolutely deserve a bigger presence in the parks.
A new Muppet-themed restaurant, a new attraction, or even a full-blown land with wacky Muppet antics could be incredible. The Muppets are taking over Rock โnโ Roller Coaster but weโd love to see even more of them in the parks! Imagine a dark ride where youโre part of the Muppet Show chaos, or a meet-and-greet with Kermit and Miss Piggy in a brand-new version of the Muppet Courtyard. The humor and nostalgia potential here are off the charts.
โ20,000 Leagues Under the Seaโ
Next, Brooks brought up a classic: โ20,000 leagues under the sea.โ If you remember the old submarine ride from Magic Kingdom, you know how cool a modern take on this concept could be.
A fully immersive, deep-sea adventure with giant squid animatronics, a steampunk Nautilus, and a journey through Captain Nemoโs world would be a dream for classic Disney fans. Plus, with todayโs technology, the visuals could be absolutely mind-blowing.
โNoneโ
Lastly, Pam had a different take: โNone. Please, for the love of Disney. Halt future expansion and projects for at minimum 2 years. Focus on maintenance and customer care/training. Letโs get back to Walt and Royโs values.โ Thereโs no denying that Disneyโs been in full expansion mode for years, and some of you think itโs time to pause and regroup.
Those were just some of your thoughts on what expansion youโd like to see next in Disney World, and now we want to hear even more from you! Until then, keep it right here for all the latest Disney news! Also, follow us on Facebook to join in on the next discussion.

Wall-E is Tomorrowland? Bring it on! And bring the old Muppet Theatre to the Magic Eye Theatre in Epcot.
Once cars land opens. Do they really need Tomorrow land speedway
I agree with no expansion. Too many attractions experience technical problems are are in need of better TLC whether mechanically or aesthetically. If anything, Iโd like to see Tomorrowland closed and completely reinvented filled with attractions rather than vacated spaces. Make it actually feel like tomorrow and please do something with the speedway!
Change Speedway into Star Wars Landspeeders and Speeder Bikes.
If they have to get rid of Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America at least move them to Fort Wilderness.
Andrew, I like your idea about the Star Wars Landspeeders. And make them electric! And Discovery Island near Ft Wilderness is just sitting abandoned in the middle of Bay Lake. It used to be a bird sanctuary before Animal Kingdom. Why not turn that into Tom Sawyer Island?
Yes, bring a Wall-E slow moving dark ride or Zootopia Land with a ride similar to Disneylandโs. A Muppet Land with a ride like the Great Movie Ride, would be great. If they would take Tomorrowland Speedway and do an update or replacement, since they are already bringing a Cars Land.๐๐๐๐๐
