REVIEW: Aunt Cass Café at the 2025 Lunar New Year Festival at Disneyland

It’s time for one of the BEST festivals at Disney California Adventure — the Lunar New Year Festival!

This festival brings special entertainment, characters, and more, to Disneyland, but of course, we’re most excited about the food booths with allllllll sorts of new and returning eats to try! Right now, we’re headed over to Aunt Cass Café to see what special festival eats they’re serving up this year.

Eats

We grabbed the Almond Cookie Bread Pudding for $7.49. This is an almond bread pudding with a gooey almond center, Mandarin orange crème anglaise, whipped topping, toasted almonds, and an almond cookie.

This treat did not disappoint! Not only did it look tasty, but it also tasted great. There is lots of almond flavor in this treat. The bread pudding is soft and fluffy, and the almonds give the dessert a wonderful, crunchy texture. The bread pudding was the perfect amount of moist without being overly soggy.

The almond cookie on top was crunchy and delicious. We wish you could also buy these cookies by themselves, because we would definitely grab a bag! The treat was large enough to share, but we have a feeling you might not want to share it.
