Do you know what time of year it is?
It’s time for some of the BEST sweets and treats out there! If you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland Resort in the coming weeks, you’ll be impressed with a long list of seasonal snacks, many of which are gingerbread or peppermint-flavored for the holidays. And for those heading to Disneyland, there’s one classic treat you can’t miss!
The iconic Disneyland Resort candy canes are BACK! These hand-pulled candy canes are a staple of the parks each holiday season, and people line up for hours to snag them. This year, they’re available on the following dates:
- At Disneyland, candy canes will be available at Candy Palace & Candy Kitchen on November 29th, December 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th.
- Candy canes will be available at California Adventure’s Trolley Treats on November 30th, December 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, and 25th.
When we arrived this morning at rope drop, the line was already LONG. We recommend getting here early if you want to snag a candy cane.
These candy canes are GIANT and they cost $21.99 each. The line was wrapped around the building to pick them up, but they still seemed to be in stock a couple hours into the day — we don’t recommend waiting though, you never know when they might sell out.
They’re crafted beautifully with red, green, and white swirls throughout. You’ll definitely want to keep that candy cane packaging because we doubt you’ll finish this treat all in one sitting. There’s a limit of one candy cane per guest per day.
Even though Disney had previously announced they’d be using a wristband system for distribution, we just waited in a standard standby queue. You may have a different experience if you visit on one of the other dates.
We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any other must-have holiday treats, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest! We’ve got you covered.
