A popular hotel food court is going to be partially CLOSED as Disney gives the space an update and refresh.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
Choosing the best Disney World hotel for you is no simple feat, as you need to navigate different amenities, price points, and locations to find out which one will be perfect for your upcoming vacation. If you’d previously settled on Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort (a great option if you’re looking for fun theming and budget-friendly prices), there’s an upcoming refurbishment that you need to know about!
According to Disney’s website, the World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be undergoing refurbishment for the entire month of July (July 1st through the 31st, 2024). This food court is the only dining location at All-Star Movies.

Luckily, the refurbishment will NOT close down the entire food court. Disney notes that “during this time, guests may utilize the My Disney Experience app to order food and drinks with their mobile devices. Signs featuring a QR code in the lobby and near the World Premiere Food Court areas will take you to the app when scanned.” Alternatively, you can just search for the World Premiere Food Court in the My Disney Experience app to find the Mobile Order page that way.

Mobile Order has been available at World Premiere Food Court for a long time now, but it looks like it might be the ONLY option for ordering food during this upcoming refurbishment (by the sound of it, the counters where you can order in-person might not be available). Disney has also said that the Mobile Order menu might be limited during this time.

Another refurbishment will affect All-Star Movies, but not until next year. From January 2025 through April 2025, the Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies is going to be closed for maintenance.

Fantasia Pool
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is part of the trio of All-Star Resorts, with the other two being All-Star Sports and All-Star Music. These are some of the cheapest hotels in Disney World, which makes them pretty popular. However, the low price point also means fewer amenities, as each All-Star hotel only has one dining location (the food courts) rather than multiple restaurants, like the deluxe hotels in Disney World have.

All Star Movies
But one thing we love about All-Star Movies is the larger-than-life statues of Disney characters that you’ll find throughout the resort. Kids especially tend to love walking around and looking at them!
