June brings us to the beginning of the summer season in Disney World, which means lots of heat and tons of crowds!

But sometimes you’ll arrive in Disney World and realize that one of your favorite attractions is closed. That’s why we try to keep you updated on what’s closed so you’re prepared before your trip! If you’re visiting in June, here’s what you can expect to be closed during your trip.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom will be closed for the majority of June, HOWEVER, it will finally be opening to the public on June 28th!

Cast Member, DVC Member, D23 members, and Annual Passholder previews will be taking place throughout the month of June, so if you see people riding the attraction before June 28th, they have special access! The ride takes you on an adventure AFTER the end of the movie. Tiana is searching for her missing ingredient while she whips up food for a Mardi Gras celebration, and you’ll help her find it!

Country Bear Jamboree

Also over in Frontierland, Country Bear Jamboree will continue to be closed for its refurbishment. We know it’s not technically a ride, but it holds a special place in our hearts, so we’ve included it here!

While we don’t have an official reopening date just yet for the reimagined show, Disney has told us they’re expecting it to be open this summer, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on it!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

We’re sad to report that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith still has no reopening date in sight in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Granted, this ride was breaking down a lot before its second lengthy closure in the span of 2 years, so it’s getting some much-needed TLC. While we’re hoping this ride will be open later this year, we are not expecting it to open in June since Disney’s website has no open times for it, even into July.

Test Track

While those traveling at the beginning of the month will be able to experience Test Track, this ride will be closing for a long reimagining process on June 17th.

We are really excited about the new look (which is sorta an old look?) this ride is getting, but we are weary of the long wait times this ride will attract right before it closes, so keep that in mind on your EPCOT day!

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

The water park may not technically be an attraction, we do feel it’s important to mention that Blizzard Beach will be closed for a while (most likely) as it undergoes scheduled maintenance.

Instead, you’ll be able to visit Typhoon Lagoon, Disney World’s other water park, so you can still keep cool while having fun on these hot summer days. This is common, as the water parks often will switch places opening and closing so they’re always kept in tip-top shape.
