A LOT is going on in Magic Kingdom right now.
Not only is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure under construction (and we keep looking for more updates on that ride every day), but another attraction is closing to get a brand new update. That attraction is Country Bear Jamboree, which is closing TOMORROW, January 27th. Now, we know you might not ever think an attraction like this would bring crowds to Magic Kingdom, but on its last day, well, Country Bear Jamboree was pretty popular!
Country Bear Jamboree is closing so that the Country Bears can learn a brand-new act. The new act will take classic Disney songs and give them a Nashville twist. In fact, Nashville musicians were even brought in to work on new arrangements for some of these songs to give the new act an authentic feel.
Today, when we entered Magic Kingdom, we noticed that more people were waiting to get into the park than usual. Are all these people here to see the OLD Country Bears Jamboree show one last time? WOW.

The crowds are coming!
We made our way over to Frontierland to check out the line for Country Bear Jamboree. Y’all, we’ve NEVER seen the line this long for this attraction so early. But everyone wants to get in that one last show from the Country Bears before it changes.

It starts!
The line wrapped alllll the way around the corner…

Around the corner
… and down past the entrance to Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe! We don’t see lines like THIS for the Country Bear Jamboree too often.

It keeps going down Frontierland!
The attraction also opened its doors EARLY, and folks were able to start heading inside for the show. We have a feeling Cast Members opened the show early due to the crowds forming in Frontierland.

Are you ready for the changes?
So, after the show closes, when will it reopen with a new act? Well, Disney previously shared that Country Bear Jamboree will reopen in the summer of 2024, so at least we don’t have to wait too long for the return of those classic characters. We’ll let you know when a specific date is announced, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
