One Disney attraction officially closed FOREVER on December 10th.

Disney California Adventure
The Beast’s Library in Disney California Adventure has closed its doors for good, and the space is going to be used for something NEW!
Disney announced about a month ago that the Beast’s Library would be closing on December 10th, 2023. The 10th was the last day when guests could experience the attraction.

Beast’s Library
The attraction was located inside of Sorcerer’s Workshop and put guests inside the library from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast movie.

Sorcerer’s Workshop
There were a couple of cool things to check out inside, like a portrait that changes from the Beast to Prince Adam and a magical book that tells you which Disney character fits your personality.

Portrait
We noticed some pretty long lines at the Beast’s Library in the days leading up to this attraction’s closure, so it seems like a lot of guests wanted to get in one last visit.

Magical Book
According to KTLA5, the space will be transformed to become part of Disney’s Imagination Campus. The campus is a “student enrichment provider” that helps build imagination and creativity in students. Their website states, “It is our vision to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and doers.”

The Imagination Campus holds workshops about performing arts and other subjects, so the Beast’s Library space might become the site of one of these workshops.
