Disney's NEW Pixar Hotel Just Got Some Big Updates

Calling all Pixar fans, we’ve got the vacation update for you!

For a while, Disneyland Resort has been updating the Paradise Pier Hotel to become the Pixar Place Hotel, and it’s going to become the ultimate place for Pixar fans to stay on vacation. During a recent visit, we checked out some of the changes, and we took LOTS of photos to share the progress with you!

First up, let’s talk about that pool. The area features characters from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory — how appropriate!

This all-new area features a pool, splash pad, water slide, and whirlpool inspired by Nemo and his friends. Looks like the perfect place to unwind after a long day!

Inside the hotel, you’ll find concept art for Pixar characters all over the walls in the lobby and common areas. Be on the lookout for your favorite movie represented!

There’s art everywhere!

Even newer films like Turning Red are represented! The vibes here remind us a little bit of the lobby at the Art of Animation Resort in Disney World.

One of the coolest places inside is the Soul-inspired staircase. There’s a piano at the bottom, with artwork and mood lighting going all the way up the stairs.

Back outside, there’s also a new patio seating area with lots of tables, chairs, and couches. It’s all in the same vibrant color scheme as the rest of the hotel.

We could spend hours chilling out here. And the coffee tables are sculpted to look like Pixar characters!

In the patio space, we spotted this new building that looked like it could become some kind of quick service restaurant or bar. We’ll keep a close eye on it — you know we love to try new food!
