Almost everywhere you look around the Disney parks and resorts, something new is on the way!

That’s especially true over in Disneyland, where we’re eagerly awaiting the opening of the new Pixar Place Hotel. This renovated hotel will officially be opening on January 30th, 2024 and we’ve already had a first look at the new lobby — but now, we’ve got a sneak peek at the new hotel rooms!

Disney’s newly refurbished Pixar Place Hotel is officially opening on January 30th, 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited. This will be the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States and we’ve been keeping up with all the progress. We’ve had a look at the renovated lobby, but Disney just shared our first look at the rooms!

We see so many little nods and Easter Eggs to Pixar movies — do you?! There’s a Luxo Jr. lamp, Pixar ball sheets and pillows, and tons of artwork from our favorite Pixar movies.

According to Disney, “Some of the art was even created by Pixar Animation Studios artists especially for Pixar Place Hotel! The headboards will consist of concept art from a variety of Pixar features, including ‘The Incredibles,’ ‘Toy Story 3’ and more that are arranged in order from warm to cool colors, sharing the importance of color to the tone of a scene.”

We can’t wait to check these rooms out in person! In the meantime, we got to explore some of the lobby updates and other areas of this hotel. The lobby features incredible artwork and plenty of seating and really makes us feel like we’re inside a Pixar movie.
