We reported a while back that Hyundai is creating a new special model IONIQ 5 for Disney’s 100th Anniversary, but now we know when the new vehicle will go on sale! The limited-edition car will be available to purchase in early 2024.

It’s the first-ever vehicle designed with input from Walt Disney Imagineering and is entirely electric. The IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition has a Gravity Gold matte exterior finish and Disney logos on the seats and interior. Even the welcome screen when you turn the car on is Disney-themed!

According to Motor1, Hyundai plans to assemble only 1000 units of this vehicle. “Disney’s collaboration with Hyundai on the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition demonstrates the close, creative partnership between our two brands,” Andrew Messina, SVP of Sales at Disney, shared. “As we celebrate 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, we continue to showcase our power as a leader in live content and how brands can be a part of something wonderful alongside us.”
