Setting sail on a Disney Cruise is absolutely magical, but sometimes, you just want to treat yourself to something a little more…extra.

Get ready to set sail!
Trust us, there are plenty of ways to do just that while on board any of the amazing Disney cruise ships. If you’re looking to indulge in the finer things while onboard, we’ve got the five splurge-worthy ideas to add to your next Disney cruise.
1. Tastings
There are several tastings that you can add to your cruise itinerary. Beverage tastings depend on the Disney ship, but some options you could add are Beer Tastings, Bourbon Tastings, Rum Tastings, Mixology Classes, and Chocolate & Liquor Tastings.

Chocolate and Liqueur Tasting on Disney Dream
Once your cruise is paid in full and your booking window opens (based on your Castaway Club membership level), you can reserve your bourbon tasting right through your Disney Cruise Line account. These offerings do fill up quickly. The beverage tastings are an additional-cost experience, with pricing typically ranging from about $40 to $45 per adult, depending on the class and ship.

Tastings are a great splurge
2. Beer and Wine Packages
While Disney Cruise Line does not have drink packages like you might expect from other cruise lines, there are a few options. If you are sharing with others, this could be a great splurge. Wine packages are available in the main dining rooms. These typically include a set number of bottles that are served with your dinner. You can purchase these through Onboard Gifts before you board the ship or at dinner once your cruise sets sail.

Wine on Disney Dream
If you enjoy a frothy ale or brew, the Refillable Beer Mug may interest you. With this, you get a 21 oz mug, which is refilled on the cruise for the cost of a 16 oz beer at any bar or restaurant on the ship that serves draft beer. You can get a beer mug token to carry with you when ordering to get the special mug size. Then, at the end of the cruise, you get a mug as a souvenir! Similar to the wine package, you can order ahead through Onboard Gifts or purchase it on board.

3. Adults-Only Dining
There are several adult-only dining options on Disney Cruise Line. For example, you can dine at Palo or Palo Steakhouse. This elegant, adults-only restaurant serves up Italian-inspired dishes that will have you dreaming about them long after you disembark. Whether you opt for a delicious brunch or a romantic dinner with ocean views, Palo is worth every penny. Reservations go fast, so be sure to book early!

There is also Enchante and Remy, which are adult-only restaurants serving French cuisine. Pricing can vary depending on your order, but there are pre fixe options available starting at $55 per person. If you are celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a date night on board, these restaurants will deliver.

4. Fancy Coffee
Need a little caffeine boost between all those onboard activities? Disney Cruise Line has several cafes that offer specialty espresso drinks, teas, and pastries. Now regular coffee is included as part of your cruise fare, but if you want a “fancy” coffee like a latte, cappuccino, or something else, don’t skip out on these cafes.

Salted Caramel and Coconut Latte
Our favorite part is the fun characters that can be printed on top of the foam! On the Disney Adventure, we found the best coffee! Bacha Coffee is located on Deck 7, right near TWG Coffee, and across from Diamonds & Wishes. This company has been around since 1910, but this is the first time they’ve ever been aboard a Disney ship.

5. Spa
Nothing says vacation mode quite like a trip to the spa! Senses Spa & Salon offers everything from luxurious massages and facials to hair treatments if you want to glam up for a formal night. For the ultimate splurge, book a Rainforest Room pass — this serene space includes heated loungers, aromatherapy showers, and private hot tubs overlooking the ocean.

Senses Spa on the Disney Wish
As someone who just had a massage at Senses Spa, I can tell you it was my favorite splurge on the cruise. It is relaxing and made me feel ready to start the vacation! The prices can range depending on your service, and these can be booked ahead of time.
