NEWS: Come With Us To Meet Mirabel from 'Encanto' in Magic Kingdom!

A new character has arrived at the Magic Kingdom and we’re telling you all about it!

Since Disney first announced that the highly anticipated Mirabel meet and greet would be arriving in Magic Kingdom, we’ve been so excited to meet her. Now, Mirabel has officially arrived and we’re here to check out this new meet and greet!

You can find Mirabel’s meet and greet at Fairytale Gardens where the Merida used to meet.

We rushed straight there when the park opened, and once we got there we realized that we certainly weren’t the only ones. We hopped in line and a Cast Member informed us that there was already about an hour wait to meet Mirabel — not quite Figment meet and greet status, but it’s still early!

Fairytale Gardens has received a makeover to look like the Madrigal’s Casita. We love the addition of those bright pink and purple flowers and the Madrigal family tree!

Once we made our way inside, we were able to pick out LOTS of Madrigal family details like a family tree...

… and it seems like most of the family members have banners hung that mimic their doors in the casita like Abuela…

Oh, and we think they were very sneaky trying to hide Bruno’s door, because we don’t talk about Bruno, no no no!

Disney has also provided a bit of shade in this area by installing an awning, which is much appreciated.

After waiting for about an hour, we finally got to meet Mirabel. It was so great to welcome her into the park officially for her very first day of meeting and greeting guests in this new space.

She’s just the quirkiest and we had so much fun talking with her about her new meet-and-greet space!

If you’re looking to meet Mirabel during your vacation, check your My Disney Experience App for the times she’s available, and be sure to factor in a decent amount of time for the line. On opening day, Mirabel was meeting guests at 9:00, 9:45, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 2:00, 2:45, 3:15, and 3:45 — so you’ll likely have plenty of chances to see her!
