There’s one EPCOT restaurant that’s surprisingly hard to get into…and it’s not even a signature dining experience!
Yep, we’re talking about Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in the Italy Pavilion. If you’ve ever tried to dine here, you know that reservations go FAST. But there’s a very good reason why — because people usually RAVE about the food, especially the pizza! So today, we’re sharing the two best things you can order at Via Napoli.
First up, we have to talk about the signature dish at Via Napoli — the pizza! Here there are several different flavors that you can choose from, including Quattro Formaggi, Carciofi, Prosciutto e Melone, Piccante, and Margherita.
We’ve loved every flavor that we’ve tried here in the past, so our first focus for what you should order is not on the taste…but on the SIZE. One of the most iconic menu items at Via Napoli is the Mezzo Metro pizza, which is a whopping 1/2 meter in length!
With the Mezzo Metro, you can choose two flavors — one on each side of your pizza. That way, your whole family will be satisfied and you can all share. These Mezzo Metro pizzas range between $44-$55, and they can easily feed 4-6 adults each. That’s a pretty good deal if you price it out!
The other thing we want to recommend to you is on the list of non-pizza entrees. We’ve tried (and loved!) several of the pasta dishes here in the past, but the one that impressed us most is probably the Chicken Parmesan. It’s “traditional prepared with home made tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese, served with spaghetti tomatoes” and boy is it HEAVENLY.
It’s a really large chicken breast covered in a BLANKET of mozzarella cheese. It was a giant portion and the chicken was thiccc. (Yes, with three c’s!) We would totally order it again, and we could probably order it to share!
So there you go — our recommendations for what to eat at Via Napoli on your next visit. We’ll make sure to share any more tips for dining in Disney World and all of our favorite eats, so stay tuned to DFB!
