These Airports Were Voted Most Reliable in the United States — Do YOU Agree?

As much as we enjoy vacation, there’s no doubt that traveling can sometimes be a stressful experience.

For those traveling by plane, there are a unique set of potential concerns that could disrupt their plans, like lost luggage, weather delays, and flight cancellations. But when it comes to on-time flights, there are some airports that tend to be more reliable than others. If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll be traveling through one of these airports on your next trip!

The US Bureau of Transportation released a ranking of the on-time arrival performance of major US airports from January 1st, 2023 through April 30th, 2023.

Alaska Airlines

According to their data, the most reliable airport in the US from January through April of this year was Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), with 82.02% of flights arriving on time.

Here’s a look at the on-time arrival percentages of the top 10 most reliable US airports from January through April of 2023:

Seattle, WA (SEA): 82.02%
Atlanta, GA (ATL): 80.9%
Washington, D.C. (IAD): 80.75%
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN (MSP): 80.61%
Detroit, MI (DTW): 80.45%
Charlotte, NC (CLT): 80.25%
Washington, D.C. (DCA): 80.12%
Baltimore, MD (BWI): 79.86%
Salt Lake City, UT (SLC): 79.5%
Philadelphia, PA (PHL): 79.48%

Heads up for vacationers heading to Disneyland, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) landed 19th on the list, with an on-time arrival percentage of 74.88%. And for those heading to Walt Disney World, Orlando International Airport (MCO) ranked 28th, with 70.91% on-time arrivals.
