Let’s be honest here — Disney has put together some pretty spectacular theme park lands in the past few years!
Whether you’re traveling to a galaxy far, far away and visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, hanging out with the Na’vi in Pandora — The World of Avatar, or training to be a superhero at Avengers Campus, there are lots of cool IP-themed lands that have popped up recently. And now, another one is getting added to the list!
In November 2023, Disney will open the new World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland! The space will be based on animation styles from Frozen and Frozen 2 and it will be like stepping into a Summer Snow Day celebration commemorating the day that Anna saved Elsa with an act of true love.
And now, Disney has shared a new peek at the concept art for World of Frozen. The first pictures are from the new Frozen Ever After ride (similar to the one in EPCOT), where you’ll journey up the North Mountain to Elsa’s Ice Palace and meet some friends along the way.
World of Frozen will be home to the first-ever Frozen-themed coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. The ride was “built” by Wandering Oaken himself and is powered with the help of Olaf and Sven.
In the queue, you’ll spot Oaken in his sauna. Yoo hoo!
There’s also a very cool troll-themed carving that Oaken is in the process of completing. Check it out!
Named after the national symbol of Arendelle, the Golden Crocus Inn will be a great spot to dine in World of Frozen. According to Disney, it will have “delicious and diverse cuisine.”
Need some souvenirs? Tick Tock Toys is a charming little shop owned by a wood carver and his wife, and here, you’ll be able to find all kinds of keepsakes. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, you can head over to Northern Delights.
And finally, we have to show the art for Playhouse in the Woods, where you can enjoy a unique interactive play experience.
That’s all that we’ve got on World of Frozen for now, but we’ll keep you updated with more pictures and details as they’re released! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
