Two Things You DID NOT Expect to Be in Your Disney World 'Star Wars' Hotel Room

If you’re a Star Wars fan, a live-action roleplay fan, or just someone who loves an immersive theme park experience…Disney World has something just for you.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opened back in March 2022 and it’s a truly unique offering in Disney World. The two-night experience immerses you in a Star Wars story and your decisions throughout your visit will affect how your stay plays out. Similar to a cruise ship, you stay “onboard” and eat your meals in the dining room, enjoy entertainment, and even get a “cabin” to sleep in. But that hotel room had some surprises we weren’t expecting!

The rooms at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser are incredibly themed, making you feel just like you’re flying through space on the Halcyon Starcruiser. There’s even a window with a view of space! But there were two things we didn’t expect to find in those rooms.

First up, we were pleasantly surprised to find these foaming face masks in our cabin bathroom! They come in little individual packages. The consistency of the mask is similar to a gel, but they start to foam after you apply them to your face. It’s a great way to unwind after a busy day of hustling in space!

Along with the face masks, we also got some makeup remover wipes in our cabin. Since many guests dress in costume for a stay on the Starcruiser, the wipes could come in handy if you’re doing a complex makeup look.

But that isn’t the only thing that surprised us! We were also shocked to find that our in-room TVs had all the same resort channels as the other Disney World hotels. As in, you could totally watch the pre-recorded fireworks shows from the parks…all from the comfort of your Halcyon cabin.

The theming of the TV when you arrive definitely fits the vibe, but once you start using it…it’s a pretty regular television! That means you could totally burst the immersive space bubble and watch your favorite show or enjoy the Disney Resort channels.
