Looking to fly to Orlando? Well, it might have just gotten a little easier for you!
New nonstop routes have been added to the Orlando airport in the past, and we’ve seen some really CHEAP nonstop flights to Orlando offered for the summer season. But now we’ve got news about another nonstop route to Orlando that’s coming soon!
According to a press release from JetBlue, they will soon offer a nonstop route between Worcester Regional Airport (ORH) — in Massachusetts — and Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Specifically, this will be a daily year-round service that’ll launch this summer. Seats are already on sale with one-way fares as low as around $34.
Though some language refers to this as “new,” other language notes that JetBlue will “welcome back service between Worcester and Orlando,” so it appears this may have been a route offered before. Either way, it’s important to know that this service will start on June 15th, 2023 and JetBlue “will be the only airline to offer nonstop service between the two cities.”
Here’s a look at the daily flight schedule.
There will also be a new winter seasonal service available between ORH and Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW), but that won’t launch until next winter (January 4th, 2024).
Robin Hayes, chief executive officer at JetBlue, said “We are proud to introduce even more options to connect our Massachusetts customers to the places they want to fly with more nonstop Florida service from Worcester.”
Massport CEO Lisa Wieland shared, “We are thrilled to welcome back JetBlue’s Orlando service and the exciting new seasonal service to Fort Myers, giving travelers a total of three great destinations in Florida to visit for business and leisure.”
And it looks like things will only get more accessible soon. The press release notes that after the “completion of its planned combination with Spirit, JetBlue expects to reach more than 200 daily departures from Orlando by 2027.”
So if you’re hoping to get from Worcester (ORH) to Orlando (MCO) (and back), be on the lookout for these flights and take advantage of the lower prices NOW. And check back with us for more travel information.
