There’s something about a day at Disney World that brings out big emotions with soaring highs, the sugar crashes, and meltdowns in 95-degree heat.

Magic Kingdom
The parks are crowded, the lines are long, and yes, your feet hurt. But “hot and overstimulated” isn’t a free pass to forget basic decency. From guests who treat queues like suggestions to those who decide the rules simply don’t apply to them, some people have taken their not-so-magical moments to spectacular new lows. If you’ve ever witnessed behavior that made you clutch your Mickey ears in disbelief, you’re not alone. Let’s dive into five tales of guests behaving so, so, so, so, so, so, so badly.
Climbing the Mexico Pavilion Pyramid
It’s one of the most iconic landmarks in EPCOT, but some guests seem to think it’s their personal challenge to climb it. We’ve seen people attempting to scale the Mexico Pavilion pyramid, and rarely do they get very far before security escorts them out of the park. Whether it’s a dumb, intrusive thought you let take over or an intoxicated decision, whatever the reason, do not do it. You’re putting yourself and others at risk, and you’ll never get to have a La Cava margarita again, so really it’s not worth it.

Taking a Dip in the EPCOT Fountains
Speaking of EPCOT, why are there always people trying to take a bath in the fountains?! A long day in the Florida heat makes any fountain look tempting, but Disney fountains are NOT for swimming. We’ve seen adults (yes, adults) hopping into fountains like they’re public pools. Not only is this unhygienic (you don’t want to know what’s in that water), but it’s also a one-way ticket to an early park exit. While we’re at it, do NOT dip your sweaty cooling towel in the water — that’s gross, and I am in fact judging you.

Taking Living With The Land Too Literally
Living with the Land is a slow boat ride through greenhouses where Disney grows a lot of its own produce. It’s educational, it’s relaxing, but for some reason, some guests cannot sit down. To the point where someone was so determined to grab a fresh cucumber that they literally jumped out of the ride vehicle mid-ride. They got in trouble immediately, and now, they will not be living with the land again. As someone who loves this ride, I can tell you that it is the saddest part of this whole thing.

A cucumber grown on the ride!
Resellers
Disney Parks merchandise has become insanely popular. When unique, exclusive merch drops at the parks, you’re likely to find guests leaving the store full of giant bags. What are those guests doing? They are taking the items home to sell them online at inflated rates. This is so frustrating for other guests who are truly just wanting one for themselves. Disney has begun to limit the number of items that a guest can purchase, but it’s still a large problem in the parks.
