Get ready for some EXCITING Disney World entertainment news!

At the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney shared that EPCOT’s current fireworks show, Harmonious, would end and be replaced with a NEW nighttime spectacular. But, change doesn’t just happen overnight (okay, actually in Disney World it usually does) and this time we get to reap the benefits! Disney announced that the EPCOT Forever fireworks show is RETURNING to the park and we’ve got all the details!
We’ve got HUGE Disney World entertainment news! EPCOT Forever is coming BACK to EPCOT as an interim show on April 3rd, 2023!

This means that Harmonious will have its final performance on April 2nd. Disney shared that while the Entertainment team transitions to the brand-new nighttime show, EPCOT Forever will return “similar to how it appeared in 2021” and is the “perfect offering” while the team preps the World Showcase Lagoon.

And, it looks like there will be some changes in the Lagoon as well. There will be “a phased removal of fireworks platforms following the final Harmonious performance.” Disney confirmed that the barges will be leaving!

While we can’t wait to experience the NEW EPCOT nighttime show, we are thrilled that we’ll get to see EPCOT Forever again — even if temporarily!
