We Tried the NEW Hot Chocolate Lunch Box Tart in Disney World!

WOW. We all blinked and somehow it is the holiday season once again.

Disney World is, of course, decked out for the occasion with massive trees, gingerbread houses, and treats. Speaking of treats, we know that many of our readers are diehard fans of the Lunch Box Tarts from Woody’s Lunch Box. If you are one of those people, then you’ve got to keep reading because a NEW one was just released in the parks.

The Hot Chocolate Lunch Box Tart is now available at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These little tarts are comparable to that of a PopTart and Disney loves to experiment with new flavor combos for these. So each season, there tends to be a new option to try!

Hot Chocolate Lunch Box Tart

This holiday season, it’s the Hot Chocolate Lunch Box Tart. It’s filled with a chocolate fudge filling and is topped with hot chocolate marshmallow fondant and mini marshmallows! If the tart looks a little wet, that’s because it decided to downpour in Orlando right after we ordered the treat! Our reporters are dedicated — they’ll brave anything for a lunch box tart!

As usual with the lunch box tarts, we loved the flaky pastry — it was baked perfectly! The marshmallows on top are really what made this feel like a “hot chocolate” treat.

On the other hand, we were not fans of the chocolate layer on top. Because the tart is already filled with so much chocolate, the fondant on top made it a little too sweet for us. If you don’t have a big sweet tooth, you should consider splitting this one! We do think kids who love chocolate will be obsessed with this treat.
