It’s hard to stay cool in Disney World right now!
In fact, Florida recently hit dangerous heat levels, so staying cool and hydrated in Disney World is very important. Sure, you can stick to places with air conditioning or buy one of those misting fans but what about a hands-free cooling option you can take with you?
We recently visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom and noticed something new to us in one of the shops.

Over in Asia, the Yak & Yeti Bhaktapur Market is a great place to find unique souvenirs. But we were surprised to set our eyes on an item we hadn’t personally spotted there before…

…a neck fan! These kinds of fans encircle your neck to give you convenient, hands-free cooling. They’re generally rechargeable so you can use them throughout the day and then recharge them back at the hotel. This one cost $30.

Other ways to stay cool in Disney World include taking advantage of free water or filling your water bottle at a refilling station (check out popular refillable water bottles here!). You can also opt to purchase a misting fan before you get to Disney World (or at Disney World) or you can try a cooling towel, or buy a neck fan online.

And if you find yourself in Disney World feeling overheated, you might want to visit Yak & Yeti Bhaktapur Market in Animal Kingdom for a neck fan. We’ll update this post if we find neck fans anywhere else in Disney World.
