One of the biggest events of the year for Disney fans is the D23 Expo!

This year, the event will be taking place from September 9th to 11th at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. We’ve already learned about some of the incredible panels that guests will be able to see, plus all the rare pieces of Disney history that will be on display too. Guests will also be able to see some of their favorite stories in a whole new light, as Disney recently announced that another popular experience will be returning to the D23 Expo!
Disney On Broadway has adapted multiple popular film classics into hugely successful Broadway plays — The Lion King and Frozen to name a couple — and now, guests at this year’s D23 Expo can experience iconic Disney plays thanks to the Virtual Reality Theatre!

By using virtual reality headsets, guests can take center stage and be immersed in Aladdin, Frozen, and The Lion King Broadway play adaptations, choosing from a variety of songs such as, “Friend Like Me,” “Let It Go,” and “Circle of Life.”

This experience will be taking place throughout all three days of the D23 Expo in Virtual Reality Theatre on the D23 Expo Show Room Floor.
