The Expo will be taking place from September 9th-11th, 2022 in the Anaheim Convention Center. We’ve already shared details about when tickets for the event will go on sale, but today we’ve got all the details you need to know about just how much those tickets will cost you!
Earlier today D23 shared some important information about tickets and ticket prices for the 2022 D23 Expo.
For starters, this year ALL guests must be members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club to buy tickets for the expo. If you aren’t a D23 member, you can join online. There are various membership levels including the Gold Membership ($99.99/year), Gold Duo Membership ($129.99/year), and the General Membership (Free). All membership types, including the General/FREE members, will be the only ones able to buy tickets for the Expo.

Next, let’s talk ticket prices. D23 Gold Members will get access to special discounted tickets. For D23 Gold Members, single-day tickets will cost $89 and 3-day tickets will be $229.
D23 General Members can get the regularly priced single-day tickets at $99 and 3-day tickets for $279.

In both cases (both for Gold Members and General Members) tickets for children ages 3-12 will be $79 for a single day and $209 for 3 days.
If you want to go ALL OUT you can purchase the D23 Gold Member Exclusive Hall D23 Preferred Seating ticket for $899. This essentially replaces the old Sorcerer’s Package that used to be available at the D23 Expo. There will be a limited number of these available. These tickets will include admission for all 3 days of the expo and reserved seating for all Hall D23 presentations. Typically Hall D23 is where many of the larger presentations are help. This special ticket will only be available for D23 Gold Members.

Here’s another look at the pricing. Keep in mind that kids under 3 are free.
The D23 Expo website specifically notes that “D23 Gold Members can purchase up to two (2) discounted tickets each. With a D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan, both D23 Gold Members (primary and affiliate) on the plan can each purchase two discounted tickets.”

A few other things of note on the D23 Expo website about tickets and ticket sales:
- “D23 Gold and General Members may purchase up to twelve (12) D23 Expo 2022 tickets, including any discounted tickets”
- “D23 Expo badges will begin shipping in Summer 2022. Once you receive your badge, it will be important to activate it online prior to arriving at D23 Expo. Badge activation will require a D23 Gold or General Membership. More information will be shared about how to activate your badge in Summer 2022, and specific instructions will be included with your badge.”
- “No refunds are permitted for D23 Expo tickets. D23 Expo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten badges.”

Finally, let’s talk about when tickets will be on sale. Tickets will go on sale to all D23 members on January 20th, 2022 at noon PT. BUT this year Visa is a sponsor of the Expo, and if you’re a D23 member who is a Visa cardholder you’ll get special pre-sale access to tickets.
D23 members who are Visa cardholders and who pay with their Visa can access a limited number of 1-day and 3-day tickets for 24 hours starting on January 19th, 2022, at 10AM PT, while supplies last. The D23 Expo Preferred Seating tickets will not be part of this pre-sale.

If you’ll be stating at a Disneyland Resort hotel or visiting the Disneyland theme parks, keep in mind that discounted hotel and Disneyland park tickets will be available to all D23 Expo ticket purchasers.
