We’re halfway through 2022, and that means Disney World is already getting ready for the 2023 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend!

Next year’s races are scheduled to take place between February 23rd and the 26th, and Disney hadn’t shared too much else about the event — until now. runDisney has announced the themes for the 2023 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend races!
Runners and aspiring runners alike, this one is for you! The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend returns to Disney World from February 23rd through the 26th, 2023. runDisney has announced that for the weekend, they’re not only celebrating the Disney Princesses but “the communities who support them” as well.

Let’s check out the individual race themes! The Disney Princess 5K will be themed after Princess Jasmine and her friends…

…while the Disney Princess 10K will have a Belle theme, along with appearances from Lumiere, Cogsworth, Chip, and Mrs. Potts too!

The Disney Princess Half Marathon will be Moana-themed, with “the ancestral spirit of Gramma Tala guiding the way, along with Pua, Hei Hei, and Maui.”

For those daring enough to conquer the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge — running both the 10K race and the Half Marathon — the theme will be Cinderella and her pals the Fairy Godmother, Gus Gus, Jacque, Suzy, and Perla!

Registration for the 2023 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend opens on June 21st, 2022, at 10AM EST for general registration on runDisney.com. Club runDisney members can register early on June 17th, 2022, at 10AM EST. These races tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to set a reminder if you’re looking to run through the Disney parks next year!
