REVIEW: Disney Combined 3 Classic Desserts And The Result Is AMAZING

We love to snack around Disney World and Disneyland — it’s kind of our thing. 😉

But, while we do have a DEEP love and appreciation for the Cheeseburger Pods from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom or even the offerings from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom, and, of course, Dole Whip, we especially love being able to try the new (and often adventurous) treats over at Disneyland Resort. And, if you’re looking for a new summertime dessert in Disney California Adventure that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser, you might be in luck!

We took a trip to Disneyland Resort to see if there was anything new for us to check out! While we were strolling through Disney California Adventure we happened to see a brand-spankin’ new dessert at Pacific Wharf Cafe — the Strawberry Shortcake Bread Pudding!

Strawberry Shortcake Bread Pudding

It is a strawberry cheesecake bread pudding with whipped topping and crème anglaise for $5.99.

Yes, please.

If you like strawberries, this dessert is calling your name! The bread was soft and served warm, while the whipped topping was cool and light. And, the crème anglaise is poured over the top of the whole dessert which adds a moist sweetness to it that really balances everything out.

In the middle you’ll find strawberry cheesecake filling that’s not too sweet and perfectly strawberry-flavored — you can taste it in every bite!

So, yes, you’ll have yourself bread pudding, cheesecake, AND strawberry shortcake all in one — which we LOVED! But, if you’re not a fan of strawberries, cheesecake, or fruity desserts, we’d probably recommend skipping this. Of course, there are plenty of other sweet treats to try in Disneyland too like sugar-loaded churros and adorable Star Wars donuts, so stay tuned to DFB for more of the latest Disney snack news!
