We’ve seen some exciting things come out of the Main Street Confectionery at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom since its recent refurbishment!

We definitely recommend checking out the Kernel Kitchen — a build your own popcorn bar inside the vintage-inspired candy shop! And today, we’re coming at you with a review of a treat that’s not new but needs to be spoken about — Mickey Scones!
The Mickey Scone with Dove Chocolate makes for a deliciously quick breakfast treat!
Who doesn’t want chocolate for breakfast?!
It is, of course, shaped like our fearless leader Mickey Mouse, and is heftier than it looks!

It’s got chopped-up pieces of Dove chocolate throughout, an additional sprinkling of chocolate pieces, and a delicious chocolate drizzle over top.

It was incredibly soft but still slightly dry — which is pretty typical of scones. We didn’t think it was overly sweet or too chocolatey, so if you’re in the mood for A LOT of chocolate for breakfast, this might not be the treat for you!

At $4.99, we think this is a pretty good value for a quick but filling breakfast snack! If you’re looking for something quick that will keep you full for much longer but still scratches that chocolate itch, we’d recommend something like the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments!
