The parks are flooded with guests hoping to count down to midnight with fireworks and dance parties, and you can definitely tell that it’s one of the most crowded days of the year. And if you’re one of the ones in the park celebrating this year, then you should know about an awesome freebie you can get!
Today, we looked all over Disney World for Cast Members handing out free New Year’s Eve hats. Finally, we found out they were at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and it’s the perfect way to celebrate in Magic Kingdom!

In the past we’ve found them at most Disney World hotels, but make a note that this year the hats have so far been found at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge according to guests and Cast Members we spoke to in the park. We visited Disney’s BoardWalk later in the evening and found Cast Members giving out hats, so they are likely available after a certain time.
So fun!
We spotted these hats last year, so we’re glad that they are back (even if they are a bit harder to find!).
