Disney World isn’t just about its famous theme parks, there are a lot of other things to do!

You can see a show, play some mini golf, or do some shopping without even stepping foot inside the parks. Another option is to visit Disney World’s water parks, and we have some news about the water parks that might affect your next trip!
Blizzard Beach will be closing in the new year for refurbishment. Its last day of operation is January 1st, 2022.

But, don’t worry, water park fans — Typhoon Lagoon is reopening on January 2nd, so you won’t be without a water park to visit at Disney World!

Blizzard Beach reopened back in March of this year, with new guidelines in place and some new food offerings.

The park has since been temporarily closed several times due to (funnily enough) cold weather.

For the next few days, you can enjoy Blizzard Beach from 10AM to 5PM. We don’t know how long the water park’s refurbishment will last, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
