It’s been a wild weekend at Destination D23, and we have learned SO MUCH more about the Galactic Starcruiser, aka the Star Wars Hotel. We’ve gotten a better look at those fancy lightsabers that Halcyon performers will use, we’ve learned more about the characters onboard, and we even saw how each guest’s actions can affect the whole experience.

There are TONS of Easter Eggs for the Galactic Starcruiser in Galaxy’s Edge!
But we’ve still got MORE details to report, and this time, we’re heading over to Batuu, aka Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
That’s where you’ll find a bunch of Easter eggs connected to the Galactic Starcruiser — and guess what? Those Easter eggs have been there since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened. That means that Disney knew that the Galactic Starcruiser would become a future reality and they hid some little details in Batuu that we didn’t even know about!

When Oga’s Cantina first opened, there was a message board there with a note looking for a new mechanic for Chandrila Star line — which, as we now know, is the parent company of the Halcyon.

There was an Easter Egg in Oga’s Cantina!
AND if you’ve been shopping in the marketplace in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you might have overheard a radio advertisement for the Halcyon Starcruiser to book new sailings to exotic locations throughout the galaxy.

Listen carefully the next time you’re in the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge marketplace
Disney worked hard to make sure that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Galactic Starcruiser were connected cohesively so that guests understand they’re part of the same universe. But there was also a lot of work done with Lucasfilm to make sure that both make sense in the overall Star Wars universe, too. Let’s just say we continue to be blown away by the amount of thought being put into these experiences!
We’re continuing to cover everything at Destination D23, so stay tuned for more!
