It’s CHRISTMAS TIME, everybody! The holidays have kicked off in Disney World today, as the first Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours arrives in the Magic Kingdom this evening and treats have arrived all around the parks.
While we’re exploring Disney World before the party starts tonight, we’ve got even MORE goodies to share with you as part of the all-day festivities!
The holidays mean it’s time to have some hot chocolate and Christmas cookies to ring in the season! And, Auntie Gravity’s is pulling out all the stops with TWO specialty offerings this year with the Christmas Cookie Sundae and Christmas Cookie Milkshake!
The returning Christmas Cookie Sundae is mixed with Christmas Cookie soft-serve with whipped cream, hot fudge, and holiday sprinkles for $5.99…
…and the returning Christmas Cookie Milkshake, though, is the more blended version with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top for $7.99.
We were a bit surprised that the cookie butter flavor tasted a lot more like caramel to us, even though it’s similar enough to a sugar cookie. Of course, the sundae and the milkshake were both very sweet, but guests of all ages would love it! Although we would have loved a little less whipped cream and a little more hot fudge, the soft-serve and milkshake both were smooth with consistent flavors.
But, if you’re looking for a treat that’s a little more exciting for your Cinderella Castle photos, the Christmas Cookie Sundae and Milkshake were both on the plain side with their appearances.
Both holiday treats are set to be available through December 31st, so you have plenty of time to try them before the New Year!
