Here at DFB, we’re pretty frequent Disney-goers, so we usually notice when things are missing from the parks.
Something (or should we say someone) was missing from Tomorrowland today!
Whether it be an animatronic, a piece of a ride, or a sign that’s out of place, we tend to know when things aren’t right in the parks. But today, something big was missing from a Magic Kingdom ride, and it was pretty obvious!
If you’ve ever been on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland, then you’ve definitely seen the Buzz animatronic that greets guests in the queue. He’s a staple of the attraction!

But today when we stopped by, he was mysteriously GONE! There was just a giant black curtain with the Star Command logo where he usually is.

If you were hoping to snag a pic with Buzz today, we hate to be the bearers of bad news. The Cast Members we spoke with at the ride weren’t sure why he was gone, but we’ll keep checking to see if he comes back soon. We’ve spotted animatronics missing from other Disney World rides in the past, and it’s typically for routine maintenance.
