UPDATE: The welcome show no longer has hours listed for October 1st. Instead, hours are not listed until October 4th. We’ll be on the lookout for more updates.
There are quite a few things happening in Disney World on October 1st!
It’s the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, so there are going to be decorations, special entertainment, and new offerings around all four parks. Now, it looks like a fan-favorite show may be returning that day as well!
“Let the Magic Begin” is Magic Kingdom’s morning stage show. Prior to the park closures, the short performance welcomed guests to the park each day with a parade of different Disney characters in front of the castle. It hasn’t been happening since the parks reopened, but now there are hours listed on the website.
Starting October 1st, there is a showtime for “Let the Magic Begin” at 7:55PM. It seems that the “PM” may be a website glitch, considering the fact that this has historically been a morning performance. On October 2nd and subsequent days, the performance time is listed as 8:55PM. We’ll keep checking back to see if the time switches to a morning listing.
UPDATE: The Let the Magic Begin show no longer shows operating hours for October 1st.
Instead, the Disney website has now been updated and operating hours for the show do not appear until October 4th. We’ll keep an eye out for more information.
We’ll make sure to let you know if Disney announces the official return of more entertainment, so stay tuned to DFB! We’ll make sure to share all the happenings on the 50th Anniversary!
