Flavors of Florida has started in Disney Springs, which means it’s time to eat ALL kinds of limited time treats!
Time to Eat!
We’ve had gator bites, Orange Bird as chocolate, a Key Lime donut, and more. Next on our list is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, where there’s a special dish we think shrimp fans will love!
Over at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, you’ll find a variety of delicious dishes and drinks (including EPIC chocolate-covered bacon!!). Specific to the Flavors of Florida event though is the Florida Shrimp Tacos with Watermelon Salsa!

Time to Eat!
We really enjoyed the grilled corn tortilla in this dish, and the shrimp were seasoned well. They were perfectly peppery, without being hot.
A Close Up of the Deliciousness
The fresh combination of watermelon, red onion, avocado, and bell pepper, combined with the heat from the jalapeños was also fantastic!
Great Combo of Flavors
Because you get 3 tacos, this is a dish that’s easily sharable. You could split it amongst friends or family members as an appetizer, or eat it all by yourself as a small meal.
Great to Share
We would have liked to have a little bit of queso fresco on the top, but overall the dish was really good.
If you don’t like shrimp, then this isn’t a good pick for you. But if you are a fan of shrimp tacos, we totally think you should give it a try! The watermelon is a fun addition and we think it’s something shrimp tacos fans will enjoy.
