Oh boy have we got somethin’ to share with you today.

We’re always down for a good laugh here at DFB. We’ve showed ya some of our unfortunate mishaps in Disney World, random Dole Whip sightings that amuse us, and even the comically sad tale of lost Mickey balloons. But what we’ve got in store today…well, it just may take the cake.

We were minding our business on Twitter when we stumbled across a GEM. User @caseyfeigh was showing off his 3-year-old niece’s birthday cake! But this isn’t any ol’ birthday cake, mind you. This is a Lion King-themed birthday cake. And instead of depicting Simba and Pumbaa or maybe even Zazu, this kiddo chose a far more…interesting scene.

Yes, friends. You saw that right. This little genius put Mufasa dying on her birthday cake, so everyone would be SAD and she would get the cake ALL to herself. Now, this seems like a pretty solid strategy to us — and we certainly encourage cake consumption here at DFB.

A work of art, right?! It’s even got the rocks from the stampede! And little Leona sure does look pleased blowing out the candles, doesn’t she? This cake for SURE wins an award. We don’t know what kind…but it wins somethin’.

Props to you, Leona — you kinda won the Internet today. If she’s thinkin’ this strategically at 3, we can’t WAIT to see what her 4th birthday cake will look like. Stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep bringing you the latest Disney news (and some funny finds, too). 😉
