Avengers Campus will officially open in Disney California Adventure Park TOMORROW (June 4th)!!

We’ve already gotten a first look at this land and shared photos and info about the land overall, the NEW food, the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure ride, and MORE!! But now it’s time to share a look at something very, very, VERY special. Ever wanted to see Spider-Man FLY?! Then you’ll want to check this out!

We’ve previously shared a peek at some incredibly technology that will allow Spider-Man to swing above the buildings at Avengers Campus. We also shared a look at Disney’s work with the Stuntronics that make this happen and some of the secrets behind how this all works!

Essentially, Disney uses a Stuntronic, as we mentioned above, of Spider-Man that can fly through the air. A Stuntronic is a special kind of audio-animatronic that is not connected to any base and is able to make dynamic movements.

During yesterday’s grand opening ceremony of Avengers Campus we truly got to see this flying Spider-Man in action inside of the land!
