During Disney’s last quarterly earnings call, we got an update on performance and losses for the first quarter of fiscal 2021.
Soon, we’ll get another check-in with the Walt Disney Company with another earnings report and call that will give us an update on how things are looking financially — and if we’re lucky, some Disney parks news too.
The Walt Disney Company will discuss the financial results of the second quarter of its fiscal 2021 year via a live audio webcast on Thursday, May 13th, 2021.
The second quarter began in early January, so the earnings will continue to be impacted by the global health crisis as reported in the upcoming call. Disneyland and Disneyland Paris continue to remain closed for the quarter so far and there are limited operations in others of the international theme parks.
Disney has reported billions in losses when it comes to the global health crisis and we may continue to see significantly low numbers. Consider, Disney theatrical releases remain mostly on hold as well.
The call in May should give us updates on the financial results of the quarter and could give us a glimpse of what’s to come both financially and strategy-wise. We’ll be tuning in on May 13th to see what Disney shares, so stay tuned to DFB for all the updates!
