Review: A New Soul-Inspired Float Is Now in Disney World

We’ve got a brand-new float to try in Disney World!

EPCOT may be busy gearing up for its 2021 Flower and Garden Festival — which starts TOMORROW, by the way! — but there’s still other treats to try around the park. And at Fife & Drum Tavern, we spotted the new Half Note Float!

Let’s take a look at the ingredients in this guy. We’ve got layered strawberry Fanta, lemonade, blue raspberry Fanta slushy, and vanilla ice cream. The whole thing is topped with white chocolate artwork from Disney’s new movie Soul.

Half Note Float

Just look how colorful it is! We wanna be sitting by a pool snacking on this right about now. It reminds us a lot of the Awesome Mix Slushy from a while back.

This looks so summery, doesn’t it?

The flavors in this float were fun and refreshing. It’s a true ice cream and slushy mixture — if you prefer those cold treats separate, you may want to pass!

We’re seriously loving how colorful this is.

This treat melts SUPER quickly. So heads-up if you’re using the Half Note Float for a photo op: snap your pictures fast! Just a few minutes in, the white chocolate was bleeding onto the softening ice cream. And we’d recommend you think twice before eating the chocolate topper. When we tried it, it was super chalky!

Little ones may love this float because of how vibrant and flavorful it is. It also makes the perfect snack to cool off on a hot day (seriously, put us out by a pool already!). It costs $6.25.
