Are you training for the 2021 Star Wars Rival Run virtual race weekend?

Last year, the 2020 Star Wars Rival Run weekend at Disney World was canceled. But this year, Jedi and Sith alike can participate in virtual Star Wars races from home. And with those races come some pretty epic medals. Want to know what medals you’ll be hanging up in your home soon? We got a peek at what the 2021 Rival Run medals will look like and we’re sharing it all with you!

A number of different races make up the 2021 Rival Run Weekend, including a 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, Kessel Run Challenge, Kids Dashes, and a Kids One Mile Run.

Running the 5K? Well then you’ve got an extra special medal coming your way. The 5K medal is actually DOUBLE SIDED and features Ahsoka Tano on one side and…

…Darth Maul on the other! So, whether you follow the Light Side or are a fan of the Dark Side (we hear they have cookies, but some of them just HATE the sand), you’ll get to represent your love of Star Wars with this medal.

The runDisney website also shows some images of the other medals that will be part of this year’s races. There are droids, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and more featured in these fun designs.

Some of these look somewhat similar to the ones that were announced for the 2020 race weekend that was ultimately canceled. This year’s virtual Rival Run Weekend is set to take place April 15th through the 18th. If you’re running, we hope you have a great virtual race!
