NEWS! 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend at Disney World Has Been Canceled

Since runDisney’s 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend was scheduled to take place from April 16th through 19th, we’ve been wondering what would happen due to these uncertain times.

Yesterday, we shard that Disney was closely monitoring the situation. Now, runDisney has just made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s race.

runDisney released the following statement on their website today.

All participants will receive a full refund for their race registration and processing fees due to the cancelation of runDisney’s 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend. Racers will also be reimbursed for any commemorative merchandise they might have pre-purchased as well as anyone who bought ChEAR Squad tickets. Here’s more information regarding refunds and timing.
