Many of us are missing Baby Yoda making a weekly appearance on our screen, and now a new Disney baby is making its way to the big screen.
Raya and the Last Dragon will debut in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access soon (on March 5th, 2021) and Disney is making all the preparations! Unlike the Baby Yoda merchandise debacle, Raya’s adorable side-kick Tuk Tuk is already taking over Disney World. And, we’re pretty okay with a Baby Tuk Tuk invasion.
Now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can draw Tuk Tuk, admire Tuk Tuk, and even EAT Tuk Tuk! And there’s ANOTHER snack in honor of the little guy at the parks. The Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream Sundae is available at Dino Bite Snacks and is described as a “yummy sundae built for speed.”

The treat tastes almost as unusual as our sudden love for this tiny creature! It’s definitely not your traditional Disney sundae but chai and matcha fans can come together for this journey of the taste buds. The flavor of the chai cake is more of a slow burner — you won’t really taste it much until you’re a few bites in. And, the caramel flavor is about the same…kinda there, but not really.
There’s just a lot going on in this little sundae. We thought that the matcha was an odd choice with all the other flavors going on in the treat, and would have preferred if the chai was the star of the show. Plus, the matcha gives the dessert a weird moss-y color that makes you wonder if you should really be eating the little guy’s natural habitat.
All in all, we didn’t love it but we didn’t hate it. If you’re looking for something other than the traditional Disney ice cream snack, this would be a great choice! But if you hear matcha and immediately flare your nostrils, this one would be a no-go.
For all you matcha and chai fans out there (or those who just want to get their hands on more Baby Tuk Tuk), you can grab the Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream for $6.99 at Dino Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom. And, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and updates!
