If you’ve visited EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, you’ve probably walked past the chalk artists there and seen some of their INCREDIBLE works!

WOW! That is Some Incredible Chalk Art
You may have thought to yourself, “boy, I wish I could learn how to do that” or even been inspired to buy your own set of chalk. Well, now you can learn just how to make an amazing piece of chalk art from the very artist that made the two pieces in the photo above!
Leigh Alfredson is a professional street art painter and instructor. This year, you could actually see Leigh’s pieces of art at the Festival of the Arts and see her in action there as she makes her creations. A few weeks ago, Leigh actually created the Minnie Lisa drawing you see below. It had been a little bit affected by the elements by the time we saw it, but it was still amazing. On Instagram, Leigh shares that this was a “quick 3 hour drawing.” WOW!

Today might be the last day of the Festival of the Arts, but the chalk art fun doesn’t have to end just yet. If you want to learn how to chalk on the pavement like Leigh, she can teach you! Leigh actually teaches others how to create amazing chalk creations in person (if you’re in the Central Florida area) or online via Zoom (no matter where you are).

To schedule your lessons, you can message Leigh on Instagram or email her at [email protected]. Classes start on March 1st.
Interested in learning more than just chalk art? Leigh also teaches other art forms like drawing, sculpture, and painting. You can message her or email her for more information. Again, classes start on March 1st.

Tale as Old as Time
Leigh will be chalking at the Festival today during its last day. But, once the Festival is over, adults, teens, tweens, and little kiddos alike can all learn how to create some amazing chalk art drawings of their own with Leigh’s lessons.
