If you’re headed to Disney World, there are SO many different hotels in Orlando you can choose to stay at.

Welcome to Disney World!
You can stay at an official Disney World hotel, the Disney Springs hotels, or other options, like off-property hotels. If you want to stay at a non-Disney hotel but want to be really close to the parks — the hotels at the new Flamingo Crossings Town Center might be a good option. Several of those hotels have been open for a little while, and now another one is opening soon!
Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando Flamingo Crossings will soon be open to guests! The hotel’s website now notes that it is accepting reservations for February 18th, 2021 and beyond.
Homewood Suites has a number of different rooms available including a studio suite with 1 king bed and a full sleeper sofa, and a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and a full sleeper sofa. The rooms also generally include a kitchen with full-sized appliances, TVs, and more.

The hotel is also pet-friendly, offers free breakfast, has a pool, and has other amenities for guests to enjoy.

If you’re wondering how close this is to Disney World, here’s a look at what the directions look like from the hotel (the white dot to the left) to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. One path was only about a 14 minute drive away from the park when we ran the directions in the afternoon.

AND this hotel is considered to be a Disney World “Gateway” Hotel and can be booked as part of a Disney ticket and room package straight from the Disney World hotels website.

The Disney World website doesn’t specify that guests at this hotel will receive Disney hotel perks as some of the other hotels at Flamingo Crossings do, but it does note that there is an on-site Disney Planning Center at Flamingo Crossings that can help you plan your trip.

Some other hotels at The Flamingo Crossings Town Center are already open, but several restaurants and stores are set to open there in the next few years as well.
