The Fourth of July is only three months away, which means we’re already planning our park day to see the fireworks!
But Disney is doing something different for the Fourth of July fireworks this year – instead of only showing them on the 3rd and 4th, they’ll now be shown on three different nights!
The annual fireworks show, Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will play across all three nights of the holiday weekend on Friday, July 3rd, Saturday, July 4th, and Sunday, July 5th. This will be for both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, so you can celebrate Independence Day on each coast!
The Fourth of July fireworks will happen at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. Like the current Happily Ever After fireworks show, you can see this from the front of the castle and along Main Street, U.S.A. The same goes for Disneyland, where the show will be at Sleeping Beauty Castle.
In addition, both parks offer private fireworks viewing! At Disney World, the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties offer unlimited beverages and desserts, including cupcakes, cheesecakes, and tarts. The private viewing is at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, where you can take a seat along the moat of Cinderella Castle and watch the fireworks with a perfect view!
Disneyland in California has a similar offer. The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace: Evening Dining Package offers iconic chilled foods, snacks, and desserts inspired by the heyday of the Space Age. They’re served in the cutest commemorative bento box. You can see the fireworks light up the sky from the restaurant’s terrace, but the projections might not be visible from your seat.
While both of these private viewing spaces sold out within minutes this year, they’re offered every single year. Booking opens 60 days out at 6 AM Eastern Time for Florida and 6 AM Pacific Time for California, so mark your calendars and set your alarms for next year!
