In Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square, we’re welcoming back a classic attraction!
The Liberty Belle
We said goodbye to the Liberty Belle Riverboat last fall while Rivers of America was drained. The refurbishment process took a few months, but yesterday we spotted our beloved boat back on the water preparing for her big reopening day.
And that big reopening day is TODAY! The Liberty Belle is taking passengers once again for a relaxing cruise around Tom Sawyer Island. You HAVE to see how they got this thing back on the water.

Plus, Rivers of America is completely refilled and looking good as new.

Guest can now join a socially distanced line at the station in Liberty Square to hop on board a steam-powered cruise around the Rivers of America.

Tom Sawyer Island also reopened today, right next door!
But refurbishments are far from over in Magic Kingdom. Disney just announced that the Mad Tea Party and the Swiss Family Treehouse will both be closing temporarily, and the PeopleMover has been down for almost a YEAR (as in, way too long). So while we say hello to Rivers of America, we’re not saying goodbye to construction just yet! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
