Disney Parks around the world have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several parks closed and reopened including Disney World, Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris, and even Hong Kong Disneyland. Shanghai Disney Resort had to close in March, and we’ve seen more and more of the resort slowly reopen. We recently got an update that more of the resort would be reopening soon — and now, we know exactly when that will be!

We’ve learned LOTS of fun stuff about Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will begin on October 1st, 2021 (Disney World’s 50th anniversary!) and last for 18 months after. There will be celebrations in all 4 parks — and Mickey and Minnie will even get brand-new costumes! And now, we know even more about how the beloved park icons will transform for the occasion.
We’ve seen big crowds in Disney World over the last week.
The parks were packed last weekend due to the holiday — we saw some of the biggest crowds since Disney reopened last year! We expected things to slow down a bit as the week progressed, but we were hit with some MAJOR traffic today as we drove to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

The installation of EPCOT’s new Leave a Legacy panels continues!
Guests used to be able to take a picture that would be displayed on one of the Leave a Legacy monoliths. Tens of thousands of people participated before Leave a Legacy was temporarily removed from the park entrance as part of EPCOT’s reimagining. But now, the panels are being reinstalled at a new location just outside the park.
