Looking to enjoy some popcorn at Magic Kingdom this weekend?
Well, if you don’t have your Park Pass reservation already, you may be out of luck…key word “may.”
The Park Pass reservation calendar has been changing A LOT lately! We just shared with you yesterday that Park Pass reservations were completely unavailable for this Sunday, September 6th. We checked again this morning, and that still appears to be the case. Currently, there are no Park Pass reservations available for any of the Disney theme parks for Annual Passholders…
…Theme Park Tickets Guests…
…and Disney Resort Guests for September 6th.
But now, it looks like Park Pass reservations are entirely unavailable for all guests and all parks for Saturday, September 5th as well! That’s right. No Park Pass reservations at all appear to be available for Annual Passholders…
…Theme Park Tickets Guests…
…or Disney Resort Guests for this Saturday.
BUT…things aren’t always as they appear! When we actually went through the system to see if we could make some Park Pass reservations for this weekend using an Annual Pass, the system actually showed that we could book a reservation for any park on Saturday, September 5th.
It also looked like we could book a reservation for Magic Kingdom or EPCOT on Sunday, September 6th. It would not, however, allow us to book a reservation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for September 6th.
So…while you can certainly look at the Park Pass reservations calendar to see what’s available, if you’re trying to book a Park Pass reservation, particularly for a busy day, you’ll DEFINITELY want to go into the system to actually try to make a reservation and see if it shows different availability. Bear in mind, the availability of Park Pass reservations change rapidly. So, while we were able to access some reservations this morning despite the calendar not showing any availability, you may experience an entirely different situation. We also checked the system utilizing our Annual Pass, so the availability may be entirely different for Theme Park Tickets Guests and Disney Resort Guests.
Have we officially entered the Twilight Zone portion of 2020? It kind of feels like it. We are already seemingly celebrating both Halloween and Christmas in September, so at this point, we wouldn’t be surprised. Be sure to check back for more updates on Park Pass reservations, awesome merchandise, and all kinds of Disney fun!
