We’re not sure if it’s the ears he designed or his Instagram posts detailing the sources of inspiration behind Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s design, but we think Walt Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde is one cool guy — and we know we aren’t alone!

Joined by his family, Joe Rohde has decided to make a new five-part video series for his fans, and the first episode of The Rohde’s, Less Traveled (what he’s calling his new show) is now LIVE!

For the premiere episode of The Rohde’s, Less Traveled, Joe Rohde is talking all about Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s windows! Did you know many of the props and pieces of “scenery” that set the tone at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are actually based on real relics from other cultures? Meanwhile, some artifacts are actually REAL and not fabrications at all!
